Installation
Installation is traditional except that the internal storage device is an 30GB eMMC flash device, which is /dev/mmcblk0 in the kernel device tree. You will likely be installing from a USB stick, which will likely be /dev/sda. When installing, account for the low storage space you have. My solution was to utilize Btrfs with LZO compression (see Btrfs#Compression), which allows the contents of the file system to be compressed with LZO, however there are other compression algorithms you could use. This will also allow you to make local backups of most of your file system via atomic snapshots (see Btrfs#Snapshots) with much lower storage requirements then traditional local backups.
Function Keys
One thing to note about this laptop's function keys is that their would-be secondary functions are actually their primary functions. You have to use the Fn key with the respective function key to activate the function unless the key does not have a label (F5 does not have a label). For example, instead of pressing the F3 key to use F3's function it actually raises the brightness. To use the F3 key you have to press it while holding down Fn.
